A neon-soaked vampire thriller about love, violence and the things we refuse to let die.
When his girlfriend is deliberately turned by a rogue vampire, a human legal fixer has three hours to navigate London’s warring vampire factions and find the only drug that can save her.
James Asher makes problems disappear for London’s vampires. He settles breaches of their ancient Accord, cleans up their messes and keeps their existence hidden from the human world.
Then Edmund, a rogue vampire with a score to settle, turns Asher’s girlfriend, Izzy. She has only hours before the change becomes permanent. Her one chance is Theriac — a drug controlled by the very society now tearing itself apart.
With London’s vampire factions sliding towards war, Asher is dragged through blood farms, feeding dens and old vendettas in a desperate race to save her. But doing so means becoming the violent man he promised Izzy he would never be again.

That rule mirrors Asher’s human flaw: he confuses holding on with love.

Vampires are not gothic outsiders. They are an entrenched criminal class beneath contemporary London: business owners, back-alley doctors, addicts, traditionalists and rebels.
Wealth, rules and political control. Their civilisation is polished; their violence is not.
Younger vampires reject the hierarchy and the laws of immortals who refuse to change.
Ritualistic, severe and contemptuous of modern vampire civilisation.

After everything she and Asher have survived, Izzy wants a life that isn’t defined by his guilt or his need to protect her. When Edmund turns her, she is dragged into a world she never chose — but refuses to become a passenger in her own fate.

Valeria’s rebellious first son and the architect of the night’s chaos. After centuries living in the shadow of the vampire society she built, Edmund wants to tear down her empire and prove it was never worth preserving.
ASHER treats vampires not as gothic outsiders but as an entrenched criminal class beneath contemporary London.
The visual language is tactile and nocturnal — wet streets, dirty greens, sodium amber, hard cyan, saturated red, smoke, reflections and deep blacks. The camera remains controlled until violence ruptures the frame.
Underneath the crime thriller is a story about connection, guilt and the difference between loving someone and refusing to let them go.
